2. Confirm scope and price
Agree model numbers, quantities, labour, site assumptions, exclusions and any recurring services. Confirm permissions for shared areas and who can authorise changes discovered during installation.
3. Prepare for the work
Arrange access to relevant rooms and equipment positions. Identify power and network points, clear work areas and agree how planned downtime or testing will affect occupants.
4. Test and hand over
Use the installed system yourself. Check relevant detection, notifications, playback or release functions, then confirm user access and account ownership. Keep instructions, model lists and the commissioning record.
What the customer should be able to verify
- The work follows the accepted equipment and position plan, or any change is agreed.
- The relevant detection, recording, calling or release task has been demonstrated.
- Authorised users can operate everyday functions without the installer’s own account.
- The customer controls the main account and supported recovery method.
- Model lists, instructions, warranty terms and open issues are recorded.
