Compare the complete job, not only the camera or sensor count
For CCTV, compare lenses, recorder, usable storage, recording settings and cable/mounting work. For an alarm, compare the panel, keypad, detectors, communicator and reporting setup. The same number of devices can produce quite different practical results.
What changes an installed price?
Construction, roof access, cable routes, detached areas, existing equipment and work on gates or shared doors can alter labour and materials. Request any optional extras separately. Confirm GST treatment, warranty, training and recurring costs in the written quotation.
A pictured product is not a package substitution

Questions and answers
Why can similar packages cost different amounts?
Models, lens selection, storage, communication, wiring and commissioning may differ. Difficult access and additional devices also change scope. Ask for a like-for-like equipment and labour comparison.
Are app and monitoring services included?
Only if explicitly listed. Ask which hardware, setup, data/subscription service and response arrangements are included and which are optional.
