- Ask what functions continue if the subscription is cancelled.
- Request an itemised first-year and recurring cost summary with renewal conditions.
Costs to separate for this system
Installed cost depends on camera models and lenses, mounting access, cable routes, roof access, recording hardware, usable storage and commissioning. Difficult cable runs or a detached building can change labour substantially. Ask for the recorder, drive and retention assumptions to be itemised; a four-camera label does not establish an equivalent package.

A low hardware price includes a paid remote storage option. This is a hypothetical example, not a completed customer installation.

Limits and follow-up
A recorder is not a backup. Export important clips promptly and check that the exported file plays on a separate device.
If the relevant check cannot be completed, record what remains uncertain and who will resolve it before work or sign-off proceeds.
